DECAY

Air  like a cold
Wet blanket

Wrapped around
My entirety

Light is shadowed
A curtained clouded
Pall

I smell the sickness
Within me

Taste an ancient
Decay

Repeating
The sense

That something
Is wrong

Something unknown
Not understood

And I am on my knees
Praying
